NZXT Switch 810 Full Tower Case Reviews
Hardware Canucks, Legit Reviews, OCIA, and PC Perspective have reviewed the recently launched NZXT Switch 810 full tower case.
Let's see what they had to say:
- Hardware Canucks:
"From the outside, NZXT's Switch 810 looks like a run of the mill case with a great looking side window and a glossy, reflective piano black paint job. There are a few items here and there which hint that something different may lie below the surface but when taken at face value, the Switch seems like business as usual in the chassis market....that is until you pop the hood.
With the side panel off, it is possible to see all of the time, effort and engineering that went into this case. From a boatload of wiring grommets and an insane number of fan mounts to a black interior with plenty of space, it has everything that the competition likes boasting about. On the other hand, NZXT has added their own spin by incorporating a fan hub and wire tie downs so the Switch 810 remains free of cable clutter, collapsible hard drive cage handles for easy removal, rotatable 120mm/140mm fan adapters, louvers to provide increase airflow, a dedicated internal bay for a dual radiator and the list goes on and on."

- Legit Reviews:
"We were very impressed with several of the innovative features that NZXT put on the Switch 810, especially the consideration for pretty extreme water cooling setup with that 85mm of top clearance. The ability to drop a 420mm rad in the top and another 280mm rad in the bottom should be enough cooling for even a quad GPU setup. Placing easy to access filters on the intake fans is a real plus and should keep the dust bunnies to a minimum. The cable routing options are fantastic making it easy for anyone to have a clean build. An included card reader is great if you take a lot of photos. Finally, the addition of switchable LED lights over the rear ports is just ingenious and something that should be mandatory in all cases targeting gamers."

- OCIA:
"NZXT has put a lot of thought and special features into the Switch 810. A few of these I can't recall ever coming across before in another make or model case, like the slotted mounting holes for the rear exhaust fan, the fan power distribution on the back of the motherboard tray, the pivoting interior fan mounts or the closeable vents on the top panel. Other features may not be unique, like the multitude of cable access holes, removable intake filters, modular hard drive cages, dual 120/140mm fan mounts and the hot-swap front drive bay, but rarely do you see all of these options available together in one case. It's not often you find a case that supports mounting both triple and dual radiators internally either."

- PC Perspective:
"After a somewhat shaky start, the Switch 810's brilliance began to shine as I peered closer at some of the more intricate features that are available with this case. From the front panel SD card reader to the two white LEDs that light up the back I/O panel, NZXT has thought of many original ways to address some common problems that users deal with on a daily basis. Even the extra cable management cutouts were extremely useful in creating a clutter-free interior for my hardware. My only issues with this case are some of the plastic paneling that was a bit too flimsy for my taste. The top vent holes are also too large and NZXT did not include a dust filter. However, the creative design and innovative features earns the Switch 810 our Gold Award!"

This is a very attractive looking case, it is worth a look even if you have no intentions of buying a new case.
