3DMark05 Approved Drivers

The drivers listed on this page are the only drivers approved to be used with Build 1.3.0 of 3DMark05. By using the listed drivers and correct product version, you will get a valid and fully comparable 3DMark result. We will update the driver information continuously as new WHQL certified drivers are reviewed. Please note that the approved drivers listed below have been tested only with the default benchmark settings!

It is recommended to read our updated 3DMark Driver Approval Policy & Optimization Guidelines (PDF) document.

Note: If you are to use any Anisotropic Filtering or AntiAliasing, please set the driver settings to "Application" and use the AF and AA settings from within 3DMark.

Reviewed and Approved AMD (ATI) Drivers

We have inspected all offical AMD (ATI) WHQL drivers through June 17th, 2008. Listed below are the latest official drivers that have been approved for 3DMark05 Build 1.3.0 usage:

Radeon x3xx0, X2x00, Radeon X1x00, Radeon X8x0 and Radeon 9x00 Series:
Catalyst 8.5 Drivers - WinXP

Notes: The AMD (ATI) Catalyst 4.9 - 8.5 Drivers have been tested with the Radeon Radeon X2x00, X1x00, X8x0, 9x00 Series and comply with Futuremark's Guidelines.

Reviewed and Approved NVIDIA Drivers

We have inspected all offical NVIDIA WHQL drivers through June 17th, 2008. Listed below are the latest official drivers that have been approved for 3DMark05 Build 1.3.0 usage:

GeForce 6, 7 and 8 Series:
ForceWare 175.16 Drivers - WinXP

GeForceFX Series:
ForceWare 94.24 Drivers - WinXP

Notes: The NVIDA Forceware 175.16 Drivers have been tested with the GeForce6, GeForce7 and GeForce8 Series and comply with Futuremark's Guidelines. The NVIDIA Forceware 94.24 Drivers have been tested with the GeForceFX Series and comply with Futuremark's Guidelines.
