Q: How can I transfer my saved test results to PC?
A: The result file is located at C:\system\apps\spmark04\result.txt and it can be transferred to a PC by using a file explorer and e.g. Bluetooth connection. When SPMark04 is installed on MMC, replace the drive letter with E: Serie 60 phones and D: on UIQ phones.

Q: The battery test crashes right after the first test loop?
A: See that your phone is meets the minimum phone requirements of SPMark04. Please see this page for more information: http://www.futuremark.com/products/spmark04/?minreq

A: Yes, a bigger value always represents higher performance.

Q: My System Information lacks data, reporting N/A on some parts?
A: On some older Series 60 version phones the component used for collecting System Information lacks certain features and this prevents showing all the information.

Q: How can I create and run own tests suites?
A: Please see the help files of creating custom test suites

Q: The configuration details shown by System Info seem to be incorrect?
A: We do our best to make System Information detect all available hardware correctly, but with new hardware constantly appearing, this is a very hard task. Also, some hardware features cannot be generically detected, and require some hardware specific lookup info. We have not implemented any such detection in System Information since such software would require constant updating.

Q: How are the scores calculated?
A: See the SPMark04 help files or the Whitepaper for explanations for details on scoring.

Q: What is SPMark04
A: SPMark04 is a benchmark measuring the performance of Symbian OS smartphones.

Q: How should I run SPMark04 in order to get valid results?
A: Please see the official testing guidelines for detailed information about testing procedures

Q: The sky is white / parts of the scene are not shown on the 3D Game test?
A: The amount of available memory is low. Try rebooting the phone and if that does not help, uninstall other applications.
