Our headquarters are in Finland just outside the capital Helsinki. We also have a sales office in Silicon Valley and sales representatives in Taiwan. We currently employ 30 people.
Junior Programmer

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Programmer to join our Systems Benchmark development team in Espoo. We are primarily looking to fill a full-time position, but for the right person at the end of their studies we can consider a temporary part-time position before entering a full-time position. This is an entry level position - your dream first real job.
Futuremark works at the cutting edge of technology, developing software benchmarks such as 3DMark and PCMark to measure the performance of the next generation hardware.
In this position you will join our talented system benchmark programming team, responsible for the technology behind our flagship product, PCMark. PCMark works on Windows PCs from laptops to server hardware, giving you opportunity to work with a variety of different hardware and software components.
Desired skills and experience
Programming on the Windows is familiar to you and you are confident in your ability to program in in C++, C or C#. Terms such as WPF, STL, Boost and Design Patterns are familiar to you. You have some experience in software development, either through personal projects, open source contribution or large school projects. Most of all, you have a burning interest in how computing is evolving in business and everyday life. New technology, gadgets and the possibilities they bring light up your fire. You love to learn new things and solve technical problems all day and night.
- Experience in programming on the mobile (Android, iOS, Windows RT) platforms is a an advantage.
- Experience with benchmarking software and Futuremark products is helpful but not necessary.
Education
M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, but we are good at recognizing talent regardless.
Language
Excellent written and spoken English, practical Finnish is appreciated.
Interests
An interest in the latest PC and mobile hardware is a must.
