New 3DMark Cloud Gate Trailer
December 17, 2012
Anyone trying to choose a new PC this holiday faces a staggering choice of devices. With smartphones and tablets seeing explosive growth and Windows 8 introducing new hybrid form factors, there has never been a time when there were so many alternatives to the traditional tower PC.
To help make sense of it all, we'll be starting the new year with the launch of 3DMark, our new cross-platform benchmark. 3DMark includes three different tests, each designed for a specific type of hardware ranging from mobile devices to high-performance gaming PCs.
While there are still a few working days left in 2012, we'd like to share a new teaser trailer with you. This video features a quick look at Cloud Gate, the new 3DMark benchmark test for DirectX 10 compatible notebooks and typical home PCs.
Watch the new 3DMark Cloud Gate trailer and find out more about the new 3DMark.
Since this will be our last update before we break for Christmas, we'd like to thank everyone in our community for their continued support and enthusiasm this year.
The new 3DMark will be ready in January. Until then, from everyone at Futuremark HQ, we wish you all the best for the holidays and a happy new year.
